that's Miss Winehouse to you

ahhhhhh......

the feeling of finding something new....
so original, so unique, so untainted and pristine....

that's how I feel about Amy Winehouse.

Perez has been talking about her for months. mostly about how she got all skinny and tattooed and shit. but then I saw her on Letterman. color me intrigued!
so, I looked up all that crap on Perez, found some Youtube clips and Viola! I'm hooked!
now I just gotta get my hands on "Frank" her first cd. saw the video for "F*** me Pumps" - brilliant!

so not only did I find summer 2007 music to listen to, but I found my new most favoritest phrase ever.....

what kind of fuckery is this

indeed

off the song "Me & Mr. Jones"
how much better does it get than that??

i've been wanting to start blogging again for some time... just waiting to be inspired.
what kind of fuckery is this did the trick.

it's a loverly day here in new england. a full day of errands. rug cleaner guy came to give estimate this am, then off to tan, then dogs to groomer, then killing two hours - one word -> shopping! then picked dogs up, stop at store for sat. breakfast fixins - challah bread for french toast. gonna try my hand at it. found a yummy recipe in a magazine. if only i can figure out which one before tomorrow.
then after bfast, another guy is coming to give an estimate to paint the house. it NEEDS it. omg. pale, sunbleached yellow paint peeling off the house in sheets. it's gotta be done.
however, i do believe we're gonna make it a nice dark red. or "stanford" red as my honey would call it.
then next week, tree guy is coming to trim our century+ year old maple in the back. he sorta recommended we chop'er down. one good windstorm could be the end of her. but gawd. we just can't. not yet anyway. she doesn't deserve that. will have to document her progress in a photo essay... now, post-trim, once the greenery starts, full bloom, and then fall, and then back to stick season again.

plan to incorporate lots o'photos on here. some of my favorite bloggers do lots of groovy pics, and i really enjoy it.
do i think my life and/or surroundings are really anything special? well, some of it. my furbabies for instance. but, i just like the idea of it.
have tried to keep journals over the years. written years ago, but my writing is so atrocious and my hand, my penmanship i should say, can't keep up with my thoughts fast enough = too frustrating.
i've had other blogs i've started. or entries in Word. but i always quit. like i do so many other things. but hey, w/e. life is transitory, eh?
not even going to assume i'll have any readers. doing this just for me.
and the fact that i got to name it what i did - before any of you other fuckers thought of it! - makes it totally worthwhile.
